Josselin Villatoro has grown up in Lantana, FL and Lake Worth, FL. She always had a passion for acting and film, joining a film club in high school and joining theatre at Lake Worth High School, She followed this to Palm Beach State College, where she joined their theatre department and studies both acting and film. She has had the pleasure to gain experience as a backstage crew member within both stage and film productions while there, as well as have a starring role in their Spring 2019 production of Autobahn. She has also attended classes at the Bob Carter’s Actor’s Workshop and Repertory Theatre during this time. While being a student at Palm Beach State College, she had an internship at the Lake Worth Playhouse, where she earned the Above & Beyond award at their annual Awards Gala that year. She has also grown a love for photography, which she loves to do in her free time.
She now has decided to expand her studies by working towards a BS in Media Production, Management, and Technology at the University of Florida, where she recently graduated. During her time there, she was able to progress her skills by working on multiple short films. She has taken specialized classes in cinematography, screenwriting, and video editing.
